Charlotte Lucia Voskar…

is a physical theatre performer from London, United Kingdom. She trained at Arthaus.berlin (2022-2023) in Devised theatre and Performance (MA) collaborating with artists from across the globe. She made her theatrical debut at the Treehaus festival alongside actors, theatre makers and writers in the industry. For her degree she studied Contemporary Dance (BA hons) at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance (2018-2022) in Contemporary Dance (degree).

Throughout her career, Charlotte has performed and managed her own physical theatre solo show in Berlin titled ‘The Dance of Darkness’ (2023) collaborating with a classical composer. While studying at Trinity Laban, she choreographed a solo piece titled ‘Efflux’ (2021) performed in Bonnie Bird Theatre, London. Her work gravitates around mental health, healing through love and searching for your true self in amongst clouds of confusion.

In her research for her final Dissertation projects, she has centered around movement therapy, researching ways to heal through the lens of movement improvisation, whilst being influenced by clown and neutral mask work. To support this, she has undertaken studies in Tai chi and Qigong.

She has been performing from age 3 and has kept developing and growing since then, with the help of many inspiring collaborators and teachers from a range of discipliners, through acting, dancing, music, and poetry.

Charlotte is a highly creative individual with a background in multidisciplinary creation and performance, she enjoys the prospect of inspiring other people, supported by my in-depth research at masters level, in healing the body from a movement therapy perspective. This has enriched her lens to teach and nurture children in their growth as performers.
